I am a Java developer who specializes in J2EE development with over 9 years of experience. From the year 2000, I’ve worked in a wide variety of industries such as travel, forestry and FMCG. This exposed me to work in numerous business environments both in large corporates and small businesses. In addition to this I have also worked on various technology platforms from CGI to J2EE as well as SAP NetWeaver; all on multiple development environment.

Career History

2009 – Currently I’m working pro bono for a friend’s personal project. I will add more details of this when it’s released. Prospective employers should contact me for more details.

2008 TouchPoint NZ Limited – TouchPoint is a marketing company which provides management and delivery software for web and SMS based marketing campaigns. I was a Java developer there responsible for client project development and delivery.

2005 to 2007 BearlingPoint NZ Limited – BearingPoint is a business consulting company which specialised in IT deployment. I worked them as a consultant in Java development and SAP NetWeaver development. This role was multi faceted as I was involved from SAP Basis and BW support to designing IT solutions for various business requirements. This role has exposed to me to many IT and business platforms (SAP, FileNet, WebMethods, Oracle) and environments (J2EE, NetWeaver).

2003 to 2005 Oxygen Business Solutions – Oxygen was the IT support and development division of Carter Holt Harvey (CHH), a NZ forestry corporation. I was both a SAP BW Administrator and SAP Basis Administrator and was responsible for the CHH BW platform as well as other clients BW platforms. I was responsible for final development review and sign off as well as system support and optimisation.

2000 to 2003 Travel.co.nz Limited – Travel.co.nz is NZ first fully online travel agency with over 350 travel brokers. This was my first role after graduation. I was a C developer responsible for web based application for the website and the intranet. As the company’s first developer, I helped developed the company IT operations locally along with our Australia partners and was the lead developer in the NZ team.
